Zusammenfassung Es wird eine Methode für die Generierung von Spezifikationsmodellen für den modellbasierten Test von mechatronischen Systemen vorgestellt. Diese wird mit Methoden der Testgenerierung sowie -priorisierung verknüpft, um priorisierte Testfälle zu erzeugen, die für den Test mechatronischer Systeme auf Komponenten- oder Systemebene eingesetzt werden können. Ein modular aufgebauter Testadapter ermöglicht die Testausführung für verschiedene Protokolle. Das Ergebnis ist ein effizienter Testprozess, bei dem der Aufwand für die Erstellung erforderlicher Modelle sowie für die Testdurchführung reduziert werden kann. Anhand eines Beispiels aus der industriellen Automation wird die Anwendung der Methode vorgestellt und evaluiert.

Zusammenfassung Die Entwicklung dezentraler Produktionssysteme und -netzwerke stellt die Produktionstechnik vor neue Herausforderungen hinsichtlich der Beherrschung der Komplexität und Realisierung einer durchgängigen Verfügbarkeit einzelner Akteure. Neben den klassischen Ansätzen der Steuerungstechnik, wie Leitsystemen, werden zunehmend auch autonome Steuerungssysteme eingesetzt, die zur Reduktion der Komplexität und Befähigung dezentraler Prozesse beitragen. Im Rahmen der Initiative Industrie 4.0 werden daher Ansätze untersucht, die digitale Abbilder mittels Verwaltungsschalen zur autonomen Entscheidungsfindung und selbstständigen Koordination befähigen. Der vorgeschlagene Ansatz kombiniert Verwaltungsschalen und Agentenarchitekturen mit dem Ziel der Erstellung autonomer Industrie 4.0-Komponenten. Das vorgestellte Konzept wird anhand typischer Anwendungsbeispiele aus der drahtlosen Gerätekommunikation in der industriellen Automatisierung und der Forstwirtschaft demonstriert. Während in der Forstwirtschaft die Dezentralität der Prozesse und Akteure, die Komplexität der Interaktionen sowie fehlende Vernetzung diese vor besondere Herausforderungen bei der Realisierung einer digitale Produktionsinfrastruktur stellt, müssen bei der Nutzung funkbasierter Kommunikation in der industriellen Automatisierung Funkressourcen, Geräteverbunde und Prozessabläufe aufeinander abgestimmt werden.

Zusammenfassung Dieser Beitrag befasst sich mit vernetzten Regelungssystemen, die eine kooperative Aufgabe erfüllen müssen. Den Teilsystemen (Agenten) werden situationsabhängig Aufgaben zugewiesen, die von einer Koordinierungseinheit so gewählt sind, dass die kooperative Aufgabe stets erfüllt wird. Wenn Agenten defekt sind, werden die Aufgaben der gesunden Agenten so angepasst, dass der Ausfall der Agenten keine Auswirkung auf die kooperative Aufgabe hat. Es werden zwei neue Methoden für diese Umverteilung der Regelungsaufgaben vorgestellt. Ein Transportsystem wird zur Veranschaulichung der Methoden genutzt.

We present a systematic approach to realize the precise observer-based trajectory tracking of the tip of a flexible beam using the energy-based port-Hamiltonian (PH) system representation. The first design steps are the structure-preserving spatial discretization by means of a pseudo-spectral method and the structure-preserving order reduction. The model structure is exploited for inversion-based feedforward control, and the control loop is closed via an observer for the friction torque and the state difference. Experimental results for the reference input and the disturbance response illustrate the quality of the design.

This paper presents a proportional-derivative protocol for the consensus problem of a class of linear second-order multi-agent systems with local information transmission. The communication topology among the agents is switching and agents receive information within a critical bounded distance. As new observations, we show that the desired protocol system undergoes consensus and swarming behaviours when 1 is a simple eigenvalue of the adjacency matrix. In this case, both final velocity and final relative position are formulated. Simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed protocol.

By applying disturbance feedforward control in active suspension systems, knowledge of the road profile can be used to increase ride comfort and safety. As the assumed road profile will never match the real one perfectly, we examine the performance of different disturbance compensators under various deteriorations of the assumed road profile using both synthetic and measured profiles and two quarter vehicle models of different complexity. While a generally valid statement on the maximum tolerable deterioration cannot be made, we identify particularly critical factors and derive recommendations for practical use.

Measuring the similarity between point clouds is required in many areas. In autonomous driving, point clouds for 3D perception are estimated from camera images but these estimations are error-prone. Furthermore, there is a lack of measures for quality quantification using ground truth. In this paper, we derive conditions point cloud comparisons need to fulfill and accordingly evaluate the Chamfer distance, a lower bound of the Gromov Wasserstein metric, and the ratio measure. We show that the ratio measure is not affected by erroneous points and therefore introduce the new measure “average ratio”. All measures are evaluated and compared using exemplary point clouds. We discuss characteristics, advantages and drawbacks with respect to interpretability, noise resistance, environmental representation, and computation.

The emergence of new autonomous driving systems and functions – in particular, systems that base their decisions on the output of machine learning subsystems responsible for environment perception – brings a significant change in the risks to the safety and security of transportation. These kinds of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems are vulnerable to new types of malicious attacks, and their properties are often not well understood. This paper demonstrates the theoretical and practical possibility of deliberate physical adversarial attacks against deep learning perception systems in general, with a focus on safety-critical driver assistance applications such as traffic sign classification in particular. Our newly developed traffic sign stickers are different from other similar methods insofar that they require no special knowledge or precision in their creation and deployment, thus they present a realistic and severe threat to traffic safety and security. In this paper we preemptively point out the dangers and easily exploitable weaknesses that current and future systems are bound to face.

Zusammenfassung Durch ein reales Kennfeld werden die nichtlinearen Input-Output-Beziehungen eines Verbrennungsmotors (Verbrauch – Leistung) abgebildet, sodass damit in einem Simulationsmodell der tatsächliche Verbrauch exakt berechenbar ist. In diesem Beitrag wird der alternative Einsatz eines synthetischen Kennfelds für den Fall beschrieben, dass das reale Kennfeld nicht zur Verfügung steht, aber der Durchschnittsverbrauch (Liter/km) eines Fahrzeugs bekannt ist. Damit dieser auch als Simulationsergebnis ermittelt wird, müssen verschiedene Parameter des synthetischen Kennfelds zuvor kalibriert werden. Hierzu wird ein neues Verfahren im Hauptteil des Beitrags vorgestellt.

The European X-ray Free Electron Laser (EuXFEL) is a complex system with many interconnected components and sensor measurements. We use factor graphs to systematically design a probabilistic fault diagnosis method for its cavity system. This approach is expandable to further subsystems and considers uncertainties from measurements and modeling. After representing a model of the cavity system in the factor graph framework, we infer marginal distributions, e. g., of the fault classes using tabulated message-passing definitions. The emerging fault diagnosis method consists of an unscented Kalman filter-based residual generator and an evaluation of the residuals using a Gaussian mixture model. We include message-passing definitions for the training of the Gaussian Mixture Model from noisy data using the expectation-maximization algorithm.

A novel approach for a patient transportation aid for emergency medical services bases on a wheel hub stair-climbing mechanism, which currently requires a manual adjustment relative to the stair edges. In this paper, an approach for an automation is presented which utilizes two distance sensors to characterize stairs and determine the relative position to them. A controller can then adjust the system’s position automatically. A user supervision concept copes with sensor inaccuracies or errors, resulting in a semi-automatic process. Within a formative usability study (n=11n=11 users) the algorithm was able to reconstruct the stairs and drive the system neither falling down nor colliding with steps. The semi-automatic process reduced climbing time by 59 % and the participants reported a higher subjective usability compared to manual stair climbing.
