Abstract

With the combined emergence of Industry 5.0, where digital transformation remains inevitable in healthcare while improving patient quality care and efficiency levels in operational operations and overall system flexibility, advanced technologies with quantum computing must be integrated. This chapter reviews healthcare prospects, including obsolete infrastructure, disparate ecosystems, human mistakes, and data privacy issues. Then, it assesses the ability of Industry 5.0 technologies to strengthen healthcare resilience while pointing out the security risks of smart devices, AI, blockchain, and IoT applications operating on medical care efficacy. The chapter suggests a quantum-safe approach centering on cybersecurity-by-design, advanced threat detection, data governance, and joint efforts. To solve these issues, the chapter reviews cybersecurity innovations made specifically for Industry 5.0 technologies in healthcare, and overcoming its threats, so that healthcare institutions can build a more resilient and secure digital tomorrow for patients and providers.
