On page 146 of Volume 104 (2019, January issue of American Mineralogist), Kaminsky et al. refer to mineral localities in the Donetsk Republic. American Mineralogist was reminded by the editorial board of Mineralogical Journal Ukraine, at the M.P. Semenenko Institute of Geochemistry, that this locality was formerly part of Ukraine until declaring independence in 2014 and is still considered to be part of Ukraine by the government of Ukraine and many of its citizens. According to Wikipedia, the Donetsk Republic is not recognized by the governments of the United States, the countries of the European Union, or Russia.
