La réconciliation à l’image du Christ
-
Martin Leiner
Abstract
The article focuses on two questions: 1. Can Paul Tillich’s theology be considered as a theology of reconciliation and 2. How Christological is Tillich’s theology of reconciliation? After presenting Lothar Kreyssig, founder of “Aktion Suhnezeichen” (Action Reconciliation), and Gert Hummel, as both influenced by Paul Tillich, and clarifying the concept of reconciliation, the article argues that Tillich developed a theology of reconciliation without often using the term. It argues that there are many more chances to read Christ as the reconciler of the world and to interpret narratives about him for reconciliation and resilience of traumatised communities than Tillich explicitly provided.
