The third revision of the effective complete edition of the German Civil Code presents the modernization of contract law and further changes of the German Civil Code in 2000 to 2005. Differing from the earlier editions the description no longer lies in three columns next to each other but is dealt with chronologically one after another. This makes it easier for the user to follow the history of the German Civil Code and to understand the legal development of individual regulations.
The eighth edition of the "Cornerstones" will be available from winter semester 2022/23, providing readers with basic, exam-relevant knowledge, support setting up multifaceted legal arguments, and diagrams to illustrate difficult contexts. It includes current decisions and the new regulations for contracts on digital contents and digital services, including the fundamentally reworked concept of the "material defect."
