DIE REIHE: DEUTSCH ALS FREMD- UND FACHSPRACHE
Die Reihe Deutsch als Fremd- und Fachsprache (DaFF) ist ein attraktives Forum für hochwertige Arbeiten aus den Bereichen der Linguistik und der Didaktik des Deutschen als fremder Sprache und fachlicher Kommunikation. Sie nimmt aktuelle Tendenzen auf, entwickelt diese vielseitig weiter und setzt wichtige Impulse für die künftige Forschung. Schwerpunkte der thematisch breit angelegten und dabei gegenwarts- wie geschichtsbezogenen Reihe bilden im Einzelnen Deutsch als Fremdsprache und Mehrsprachigkeit, Fachsprachen und berufliche Kommunikation, Inter- und Transkulturalität, Inter- und Transdisziplinarität sowie angrenzende wissenschaftliche Bereiche. Die Leitlinien der Reihe, in der Monographien einschließlich herausragender Qualifikationsschriften sowie Sammelbände nach Möglichkeit als Open Access-Publikationen erscheinen, sind thematische Einschlägigkeit, wissenschaftliche Innovativität und qualitative Exzellenz.
This study delves into the phenomenon of "asymmetry" by looking at cognitive discourse metaphors for the concept of darkness in a literary corpus. It carries out an interdisciplinary study and presents semantic/lexical and grammatical asymmetries between German and Hungarian cognitive discourse metaphors while attempting to build a bridge between linguistics and literary studies.
This publication provides a diachronic overview of the main tendencies in Protestant theological jargon and academic language from the nineteenth to twenty-first centuries from a Germanist-linguistic perspective. Using analyses of special linguistic features in the works of representative authors and in predominant academic currents, it thoroughly illuminates the role of linguistic phenomena in Protestant theological jargon.
Promoting Islamic religious communication in German requires extremely precise knowledge of this kind of communication and language. This can strengthen current discourse about language training for Imams in terms of specialist language and make it more specific to the profession. This volume therefore examines the sermon and its diverse functions as one of the central text types in this area as well as the semantic features of its vocabulary.
