This volume offers a new edition of the work De poetis Latinis by Petrus Crinitus (1474–1507) and includes an introduction, a translation and related annotations, and an index. The work is a biographical and literary-historical anthology about Roman poets. First printed in Florence in 1505, it is the first incunabulum of modern Roman literary history with a focus on poetry.
