Phase Equilibria in the γ′-Rich Region of the Ni –Al –Hf System

Abstract
In the present study the constitution diagram of the γ′-rich region of the Ni –Al –Hf system at 1403 K was investigated. Depending on the composition of the alloy, various phases such as γ′, β, γ, γ1 and η1 were identified. Three tie lines between γ′ and β, three tie lines between γ′ and γ, one tie line between γ′ and η1 and one tie triangle between γ′, γ and γ1 were established. One four-phase equilibrium between γ′, γ, γ1 and η1 was also identified. These results accurately established the phase boundary of γ′ phase.
