Reviews

This book is a timely analysis of crisis in a time of global crisis. Brent Ritchie has produced an extensively referenced penetrating analysis offering new insights into the management of crisis in the tourism industry. This book is a must for researchers and students engaged in crisis research.

Lucid, comprehensive and well-illustrated this book raises the bar in studies of disasters and crises in tourism. Richly informed with cases from around the globe and dealing with timely and topical issues, it should become a standard reference for policy-makers and practitioners, not to mention students as the tourism managers of tomorrow.
