Abstract
The crystal structures of two new compounds were determined: 4-ethyl-3-(4-methyl-1,2,3-thiadiazol-5-yl)-s-triazole-5-thione (1), P21/n, a = 10.433(2), b = 7.975(2), c = 13.100(3) Å, β = 110.70(3)° and 4-carboxymethyl-3-(4-methyl-1,2,3-thiadiazol-5-yl)-s-triazole-5-thione (2), P21/c, a = 6.444(1), b = 14.721(3), c = 11.067(2) Å, β = 93.50(3)°. In both structures, the molecules form ähydrogen-bonded dimers through N1—H1n···S1 (triaäzole···S=C-triazole) interactions. The crystal structure of 1 is further stabilized by intermolecular C—H···N and S···S interactions, while in 2, C—H···N/O, O—H···N/S, S···S/O and π···π interactions are observed.
