Abstract

The title compound was obtained in a racemic form by cyclization of the corresponding hydroxy acid. It crystallizes from dichloromethane/petroleum ether orthorhombically in the space group P212121, in an enantiomerically pure form with a = 1289.1(7) pm, b = 1921.5(11) pm, c = 640.2(3) pm.
