Christa Pfafferott hat 2014 ihre künstlerisch-wissenschaftliche Promotion an der Hochschule für bildende Künste Hamburg (HFBK) abgeschlossen. Zuvor hat sie Regie (Diplom) an der Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg studiert und die Henri-Nannen-Schule/Hamburger Journalistenschule absolviert. Sie arbeitet als Autorin und Regisseurin.
