About this book

Der Erfolg partizipativer Methoden der Wissensbildung und -vermittlung in Museen ist von der aktiven Rolle potenzieller Besucher ebenso abhängig wie von einem nachhaltigen Lernprozess der daran beteiligten Institutionen und Mitarbeiter.

Die Beiträge stellen den zugehörigen theoretischen Hintergrund ebenso vor wie dialogische Formen der kulturellen Bildung und Kunstvermittlung. Diese werden exemplarisch erschlossen anhand des Pilotprojekts »Deutsch-Polnische Tandemführungen«, das im Rahmen der Ausstellung »Tür an Tür. Polen – Deutschland. 1000 Jahre Kunst und Geschichte« im Martin-Gropius-Bau in Berlin stattfand.

Ein Ausblick, wie Partizipation der Besucher zukünftig die Arbeitsweise von Museen verändern kann, beschließt den Band.
