Julia Dombrowskis Analyse, die das Geschehen sowohl innerhalb als auch außerhalb der Dating-Börsen verfolgt, entwickelt eine Grundlage zur Erforschung neuer Wege der Partnersuche im interkulturellen Vergleich.

Julia Dombrowski (Dr.), geb. 1975, hat an der Universität Hamburg Ethnologie studiert und bei Dorle Dracklé zum Thema Online-Dating an der Universität Bremen promoviert. Nach langjähriger Tätigkeit in der Arbeit mit Geflüchteten ist sie seit 2011 Leiterin der Veranstaltungsabteilung am Museum für Völkerkunde Hamburg. Ihre wissenschaftlichen Interessen liegen in der Auseinandersetzung mit Programmatik und Strategien ethnografischer Museen, digitalen Medien und Reproduktionstechnologien.
