Eric Hauser
Eric Hauser (PhD, University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa) is an associate professor of English at the University of Electro-Communications, a national university specializing in engineering and applied science in Tokyo, Japan. He is also an affiliate member of the graduate faculty of the Department of Second Language Studies at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa and the Associate Editor of
JALT Journal . His research focuses on interaction in English and Japanese, in particular interaction in which one or more participants is using a second language. He has recent publications inLanguage Learning ,Language and Sociocultural Theory , andGesture .
