Some thoughts on the interlinear scholia in the h family of the Iliad

Abstract: After a very summary survey of the Homeric manuscripts – including several provided with paraphrases – among which the Iliad’s editors identified an “h family” rich in ancient readings and the editors of scholia a family that conflates several known scholiastic traditions but contains good material as well, I will examine in some detail their interlinear scholia, checking their relationship with D-scholia and paraphrases.
