Zusammenfassung
Der Artikel untersucht, ob und in welchem Maße der Sportlehrerberuf eine Profession darstellt. Hierzu benützt er eine systemtheoretisch orientierte Professionalisierungstheorie (Stichweh), wodurch Fragen nach dem gesellschaftlichen Problembezug, der Definition der Komplementärrollen-Karriere, der Experten-Laien-Differenz und der Monopolstellung des Sportlehrerberufs aufkommen.
Summary
This article investigates to what extent teaching physical education is considered a profession. For this purpose the analysis is based on the social systems theory and the theory of professions by Stichweh. The main topics are the reference to social problems, the processes that lead to inclusion and exclusion into the complementary role (Komplementärrollen-Karriere), the professional-amateur difference and furthermore the monopoly of the profession of the physical education teacher.
