Zusammenfassung
Die Studie evaluiert und interpretiert einen Satz von Pferdegeschirrbeschlägen von Milonice, Bez. Blansko (Mähren, Tschechische Republik) aus dem Bereich des europäischen Barbaricums. Die Beschläge stammen von mindestens zwei Garnituren und datieren in das späte 2. bis frühe 3. Jahrhundert n. Chr. Ihre Ausprägung kommt Funden von Illerup Ådal und Kazanskaya Stanica am nächsten. Sie stellen die ersten Vertreter dieser Gruppe in der mittleren Donauregion dar. Gebrauchsspurenuntersuchungen bestätigten eine Verwendung der Objekte und ihre Beschädigung. Die metallkundliche Analyse ergab, dass die untersuchten Artefakte (1 bis 6) aus Zinn, Messing und Silber hergestellt wurden. Mit Blick auf ihre Fundlage in der Landschaft und ihr Verhältnis zu mit anderen Funden in der Nähe ist eine Interpretation der Metallgegenstände als Deponieriung aus rituellen Gründen am wahrscheinlichsten.
Abstract
The study evaluates and interprets a set of horse harness fittings from Milonice, Blansko District (Moravia, Czech Republic), which it places in the context of European Barbaricum. The fittings come from at least two sets and are dated to the late 2nd century to early 3rd century A. D. Their shape is closest to the finds from the sites of Illerup Ådal, Kazanskaya Stanica and others. They represent the first representatives of this group in the Central Danube region. The traseological analysis confirmed the use of the objects and their damage. Based on the elemental analysis, we can conclude that the studied artefacts (no. 1 to 6) were made of tin brass and silver. The set of metalwork was deposited most likely for ritual reasons, given its location in the landscape and comparison with other nearby finds.
Abstrakt
Studie hodnotí a interpretuje soubor kování koňského postroje z Milonic, okr. Blansko (Morava, Česká republika), který zasazuje do kontextu evropského barbarika. Kování pocházejí nejméně ze dvou garnitur a jsou datována na sklonek 2. století až počátku 3. století po Kr. Svým tvarem mají nejblíže k nálezům z lokalit Illerup Ådal, Kazanskaya Stanica a dalším. V prostoru středního Podunají představují první zástupce této skupiny. Traseologická analýza potvrdila užívání předmětů a jejich poškození. Na základě prvkové analýzy můžeme konstatovat, že studované artefakty (č. 1 až 6) byly vyrobeny z cínové mosazi a stříbra. Soubor kování byl deponován nejspíše z rituálních důvodů, a to s ohledem na lokalizaci v krajině a komparaci s dalšími blízkými nálezy.
