Integral nucleus-nucleus cross-sections

Abstract

Expressions approximating the experimental integral cross-sections for elastic and inelastic interactions of light and heavy nuclei at energies up to several GeV/nucleon are presented. The calculated cross-sections are inside the corridor of experimental errors or very close to it.

Abstract

Es werden Näherungsformeln für experimentell ermittelte integrale Wirkungsquerschnitte für elastische und inelastische Wechselwirkungen von Licht und schweren Kernen bei Energien bis zu einigen GeV/Nukleon vorgestellt. Die berechneten Wirkungsquerschnitte liegen innerhalb eines Korridors experimenteller Fehler oder sehr nahe dran.
