On behalf of the editors of the journals, authors, readers, and the organizations we serve, I want to recognize the exceptional contributions of Ms. Ingrid Gruenberg, with whom I have worked since 1997 at the Journal of Perinatal Medicine (JPM) and since 2012 on the new journal Case Reports in Perinatal Medicine.

Ingrid’s work, dedication, professionalism, attention to detail and administrative talent have been essential in strengthening our journals. Our successful partnership was made possible by Ingrid’s integrity, dependability and excellent teamwork, which generated trust from our authors and reviewers.

I want to express my personal gratitude to Ingrid for her contributions during the important transitions that have occurred at the journal during her tenure. Ingrid played a key role in bringing JPM into the digital age, and was essential in strengthening the quality of what we published, as well as the timeliness of the journal.

We thank Ingrid for her countless contributions, and wish her a very happy new chapter in her life.
