    Tomokazu Ishikawa is Assistant Professor at Tamagawa University’s Center for English as a Lingua Franca and a part-time lecturer at Waseda University’s Graduate School of Education, as well as a postdoctoral member at the University of Southampton’s Centre for Global Englishes. His research interest includes English as a Multilingua Franca, transculturality, and English language teaching.

    Paul McBride is Associate Professor of English as a lingua franca and Associate Director at the Center for English as a Lingua Franca at Tamagawa University in Tokyo. He is interested in pedagogical implications of ELF, including issues of language, literacy, meaning, and knowledge as they are interrelated in the generation, validation, and maintenance of structural power within academic institutions.
