General
The conference is organized by the Chemistry Department, Faculty of Science, Sohag University and sponsored by the Egyptian Heterocyclic Chemical Society.
Sohag University was established as an independent regional university in 2006. However, the Faculty of Science itself had been established in 1975 as a branch of Assuit University. Highly qualified staff members are working at the Faculty of Science at Sohag University in a broad range of disciplines.
The Egyptian Heterocyclic Chemical Society (EHCS) was founded in 1992 as a national organization concerned with a broad range of disciplines relating to heterocyclic compounds and their applications.
EHCS bridges the gaps among academia, research, and industries bringing together scientists from Egypt and around the world to exchange technical information. This unique blend provides a forum for the integration of these areas of science and technology.
