Sentence length and style. The case of two contemporary Bengali authors viz Lila Mazumdar and Sunil Gangopadhyaya

Abstract
Using the sentence lengths we compare the writings of two of the most famous Bengali authors of post Tagore era. It is found that the sentence length can be a pertinent parameter to study the styles of these authors. This is a pilot study done for the first time in Bengali literature.
