Résumé
Dans les Histoires ou contes du temps passé, Charles Perrault ne qualifie pas La Barbebleue de conte. De quoi s’agit-il ? A l’exception des aires périphériques, les versions orales françaises du récit diffèrent du conte-type international (ATU 311), d’où l’introduction par Paul Delarue d’un nouveau numéro, le conte-type 312, pour permettre de les distinguer. Nous faisons l’hypothèse que le récit de Perrault a partiellement éliminé la configuration ancienne du conte traditionnel européen, mais que les formes issues de cette néo-oralité tendent souvent à échapper au modèle écrit, sans remettre en cause, cependant, la structure narrative réduite (qui a, par exemple, éliminé la triplication des soeurs et de leurs malheureuses aventures). Perrault s’inscrit ici au-delà du pastiche, dans un ‹ no man’s land › entre oral et écrit.
Abstract
In his Histoires ou contes du temps passé, Charles Perrault does not refer to La Barbe bleue as a tale. What is this all about? At the exception of the peripherical areas, the oral French versions of the story differ from the international tale type (ATU 311), and therefore Paul Delarue has introduced a new number, tale-type 312, in order to distinguish them. According to our hypothesis, Perrault’s story has partially superseded the ancient configuration of the traditional European tale, but the forms that arose from this neo-orality often tend to escape the written model, without calling into question, however, the reduced narrative structure (which has, for example, led to the elimination of the triplication of the sisters and their unfortunate adventures). Here, Perrault situates himself outside of the pastiche, in a no man’s land between oral and written culture.
Zusammenfassung
In den Histoires ou contes du temps passé bezeichnet Charles Perrault La Barbe bleue nicht als Märchen. Worum handelt es sich? Außer in den peripheren Überlieferungsbereichen unterscheiden sich die mündlichen französischen Varianten der Erzählung vom internationalen Erzähltyp (ATU 311). Paul Delarue hat daher zur Differenzierung eine neue Nummer, den Typ 312, eingeführt. Unserer Hypothese zufolge hat Perraults Erzählung die alte Grundgestalt des traditionellen europäischen Märchens verdrängt, aber die daraus entstandenen neo-oralen Formen zeigen oft eine Tendenz der Abweichung vom schriftlichen Modell, ohne jedoch die reduzierte Erzählstruktur (z. B. den Wegfall der Dreizahl der Schwestern und ihres unglücklichen Schicksals) in Frage zu stellen. Jenseits des Pasticcio steht Perrault hier in einem Niemandsland zwischen Mündlichkeit und Schriftlichkeit
