    Susan Petrilli (b. 1954) is Professor of Philosophy and Theory of Languages at the University of Bari “Aldo Moro,” Italy. Her research interests include philosophy of language, semiotics, interpretation and translation theory and theory of literature. Recent publications include: Expression and interpretation in language (2012), The self as a sign, the world and the other (2013), Sign studies and semioethics: Translation, communication and values (2014), Victoria Welby and the science of signs: Significs, semiotics, philosophy of language (2015).
