Abstract
Hydrogen (H2) has been recognized as one of the attractive energy carriers due to its clean and environmentally friendly characteristics where the burning of H2 as a fuel produces zero waste emission. Water-gas shift reaction (WGSR) has been accepted as one promising pathway for producing hydrogen. Recently, membrane technology has emerged as a new way to improve high-purity H2 production via the WGSR. A substantial amount of research works has so far focussed on the production of H2 alone while often neglecting the emission of carbon dioxide (
