  • Christoph Stiller

    Christoph Stiller studied Electrical Engineering in Aachen, Germany, and Trondheim, Norway, and received the Diploma and Dr.-Ing. degree from the Aachen University of Technology, Aachen, Germany, in 1988 and 1994, respectively. He spent a year as Postdoctoral Scientist with INRS Telecommunications, Montreal, QC, Canada. In 1995, he joined the Corporate Research and Advanced Development of Robert Bosch GmbH, Hildesheim, Germany. In 2001, he became a Chaired Professor with the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Karlsruhe, Germany. He is Fellow of the IEEE and served as President of the IEEE Intelligent Transportation Systems Society (2012–2013) and as Vice President before since 2006. He served as Editor-in-Chief of the IEEE Intelligent Transportation Systems Magazine (2009–2011) and as Associate or Senior Editor for several IEEE Transactions and Magazines. His research interest covers perception and planning for mobile agents.

    und Matthias Althoff

    Matthias Althoff is associate professor in computer science at Technische Universität München, Germany. He received his diploma engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2005, and his Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering in 2010, both from the Technical University of Munich, Germany. From 2010 to 2012 he was a postdoctoral researcher at Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, USA, and from 2012 to 2013 an assistant professor at Technische Univesität Ilmenau, Germany. His research interests include formal verification of continuous and hybrid systems, reachability analysis, safeguarding artificial intelligence, nonlinear control, automated vehicles, robotics, and power systems.
