Ukrainian Women Artists in Revolutionary Times

Halyna Kohut
HALYNA KOHUT is Associate Professor at the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, Ukraine. She received her Ph.D. from the Lviv National Academy of Arts. Due to the ongoing Russian invasion of Ukraine, Kohut has temporarily moved to Germany. She was awarded Volkswagen Foundation and Vector fellowships at the Department of Art History and Architecture of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. Her research centers on eighteenth-century textiles and twentieth-century women artists.
