»Zion wird man Mutter nennen« Die Zionstradition in Psalm 87 und ihre Rezeption in der Septuaginta

Abstract

This study interprets Ps 87 as a Zion song, which shifts the tradition's focus to universalistic claims about the nations' citizenship in Zion. As this thought is unique within the Hebrew Bible, it has been highly disputed among scholars. The psalm's translation in the Septuagint, however, confirms the idea that Zion is mother to the nations and deepens the female personification of the city of God.

Abstract

Cette interprétation révèle le Ps 87 comme une chanson de Sion qui déploie en même temps l'idée nouvelle que les nations étrangères sont dites nées à Sion. Parce que cette idée est unique dans la bible hébraïque, cette explication était très contestée. La traduction de la Septante du psaume confirme cependant la pensée de la maternité de Sion pour les peuples et elle approfondit la personnification féminine de la ville de Dieu.

Abstract

Die hier vorgelegte Interpretation erweist Ps 87 als ein Zionslied, das einen völlig neuen Gedanken entfaltet, indem es die fremden Völker als in Zion geboren proklamiert. Da diese Vorstellung in der Hebräischen Bibel einzigartig ist, war diese Deutung von Ps 87 lange umstritten. Die Rezeption des Psalms in der Septuaginta bestätigt jedoch den Gedanken der Mutterschaft Zions für die Völker und vertieft die weibliche Personifikation der Gottesstadt.
