Cathrin Hauswald (Dr. phil.) ist wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin im Gewerbemuseum Winterthur, Schweiz. Zuvor war sie in der Sammlung Fotografie und neue Medien im Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe Hamburg tätig und promovierte als Stipendiatin am DFG-Graduiertenkolleg »Das Reale in der Kultur der Moderne« an der Universität Konstanz.
