Abstract
This chapter brings an inside-out reflection on the nanoscience and nanotechnology (N&N) reach from the author’s perspective as a chemist working in the nano-field in Latin America. It explores modestly the questions arisen from the science- society relationships and their impact on the subject’s social and ethical issues. This essay intends to call your attention to the N&N’s social and ethical aspects and begin a reflexive exercise by deconstructing the established discourses for those working in the field.
