Abstract
The article aims to describe the ontological profile of the "stranger" by studying three correlative concepts of alienation, alteration and reconciliation, and is based on the work of Paul Tillich who grounded the main philosophical elements of his thought in that of Plato. From a philosophical, theological, and spiritual point of view, the article aims to study the importance of the tensions between self-alteration and integration, with a view to alienation and reconciliation.
