Abstract

In this chapter, silicon-based inorganic polymers have been discussed. The silicon polymers have a great variety of commercial applications such as resins, elastomers and fluids. Silicon is a quickly oxidized and cross-linkage-type polymer. In general, silicon-based polymers have low molecular weight and are elastic in nature. Also, synthetic method, properties, and its important role in various commercial industries are discussed in detail.
