Influenza-Impfung und medizinisches Personal – Diskrepanz zwischen offiziellen Empfehlungen und Impfraten

Einleitung

Medizinisches Personal hat einerseits ein erhöhtes Risiko, an Influenza zu erkranken und kann andererseits die Erkrankung auf Patienten übertragen. Der effektivste Weg nosokomiale Influenza-Ausbrüche zu vermeiden, ist die jährliche Influenza-Schutzimpfung des medizinischen Personals. Dessen ungeachtet ist die Akzeptanz der Influenza-Impfung beim medizinischen Personal, sowohl im nationalen als auch im internationalen Umfeld gering und es werden nur niedrige Durchimpfungsraten erzielt.
