About this journal
The annual Romanistisches Jahrbuch / Yearbook of Romance Languages and Literatures serves as a comprehensive platform for disseminating results of cutting-edge research on Romance languages, literatures, and cultures. For Romance Philology in Germany and Austria, it also documents the current institutional set-up of the field by listing professorships dedicated to Romance studies as well as ongoing and completed doctoral and habilitation research. Most importantly, each issue offers a selection of peer-reviewed articles presenting original research, state-of-the-art reports, and book reviews.
Romanistisches Jahrbuch welcomes submissions of original research work on all Romance languages – including regional languages and dialects – and their literatures and cultures, past and present. The focus is on showcasing exciting new trends in international scholarship, interdisciplinary approaches, and transcultural perspectives.
The languages of publication are Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, English and German.
In the framework of existing Publish & Read agreements, authors may be eligible to publish their research OA free of charge. Please find more information here: https://www.degruyter.com/publishing/publications/openaccess/open-access-agreements.
