Published on behalf of the Historical Commission in Berlin by Klaus Neitmann in co-operation with Dominik Geppert and Wolfgang Neugebauer.
Comparative Prussian history constitutes the methodical focus of the Yearbook. Particular emphasis is placed on the areas east of the rivers Elbe and Saale: they produced those Eastern settlements to be merged into the Prussian state in the early modern age. Political, judicial and constitutional history, economic and social history; church, cultural and educational history are all taken into consideration. A journal review provides a quick insight into the latest research in Prussian regional history.
