Zusammenfassung

Der Beitrag begründet eine empirische interreligiöse Gemeindeforschung als ein wichtiges Desiderat religionssoziologischer Forschung. Dazu wird gezeigt, dass interreligiöse Kontakte ein relevantes Phänomen in einer zunehmend migrationsgeprägten, religiös pluralen Gemeindelandschaft sind. Diese ergeben sich jedoch nicht automatisch, sondern werden von der Position im religiösen Feld sowie der Integration der Gemeinde in die Gesellschaft beeinflusst und sind zu entwickeln und zu gestalten, wozu es weiterer Kenntnisse bedarf.

Abstract

The article provides a justification for empirical interreligious community research as an important desideratum of the sociology of religion. It shows that interreligious contacts are a relevant phenomenon in a religiously plural community landscape that is increasingly characterized by migration. These contacts do not arise automatically, but rather are influenced by the position in the religious field and the integration of the community in society and ought to be developed and shaped, for which further knowledge is required.
