    Chaoqun Xie is a professor at the College of Foreign Languages, Fujian Normal University, China. His recent projects and publications mainly focus on internet pragmatics and (im)politeness in internet-mediated interaction in particular. He is currently Co-Editor-in-Chief of the journal Internet Pragmatics (John Benjamins) and Editor-in-Chief of the book series Advances in (Im)politeness Studies (Springer).
