About this journal
Objective
Please note that, from the 2022 volume onwards, Fractional Calculus and Applied Analysis is published by Springer Nature. For more information, please see the new journal homepage here. (please put under ‘here’ the link to Springer's website: https://www.springer.com/journal/13540.
Your Benefits
- Interdisciplinary and applied approach
- High value of impact factor
- Prominent members of Editorial Board
- High quality peer-review
History
The journal was founded in 1998 and published during 1998 – 2010 by the Institute of Mathematics and Informatics – Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, Sofia, with the valuable support of its Founding Editors, among them – the pioneers of the contemporary fractional calculus (in the lists of Honorary Founding Editors and Honorary Editors).
In the period 2011 – 2014 (Vol. 14 to Vol. 17) the FCAA journal was co-published by Versita (now: De Gryuter Open), Warsaw and Springer-Verlag, Wien, as the first Bulgarian scientific journal in their joint publishing program for East Europe. A wide popularity was achieved by its both print version and electronic version, then at SpringerLink, http://link.springer.com/journal/13540 .
Since Vol. 18 (2015), the publisher and distributor of FCAA is Walter de GruyterGmbH, Berlin / Boston, and the main website is http://www.degruyter.com/view/j/fca.
We acknowledge the continued support and cooperation of the Institute of Mathematics and Informatics - Bulgarian Academy of Sciences.

Please check our Editorial Policy before submitting.
Please note
- Manuscripts must be written in clear and concise English
- FCAA manuscripts must be prepared in LaTeX and submitted in pdf-format
- The authors should be ready to provide upon acceptance, finally revised versions of the LaTeX source and the figures’ files (if any, in eps- and pdf-format), together with the final pdf-file and the Transfer of Copyright Agreement (TCA form for FCAA). The Instructions for Authors and FCAA format should be followed strictly, and it is expected almost camera-ready prepared manuscript

- Rapid online publication with short turnaround times
- High quality manuscript processing
- Optional open access publication
- Accepted papers can be published online first as DOI-citable, forward-linked articles for quickest possible visibility for the scientific community
- Every article easily discoverable because of SEO and comprehensive abstracting and indexing services
- Secure archiving by De Gruyter and the independent archiving service Portico
- Professional sales and marketing support
We look forward to receiving your manuscript!
Hybrid Open Access
Please note that authors from institutions with which we have a transformative agreement can publish open access without paying an article processing charge (APC). More information on the eligible institutions and articles can be found under the "Funding and Support" tab here
