About this journal
Objective
Drug Metabolism and Personalized Therapy (DMPT) is the official journal of the European Society of Pharmacogenomics and Personalised Therapy (ESPT). DMPT offers up-to-date research articles, reviews and opinion papers from the broad field of personalized therapy and pharmacogenomics. Specifically, it covers the following fields: pharmacogenetics, pharmacogenomics and drug metabolism research, dealing with established, new and potential drugs, herbal medicinal products, environmentally toxic chemicals, the mechanisms by which drugs and herbs can interact with each other and with biological systems, and the pharmacological and toxicological consequences of these interactions, as well as drug metabolism and excretion. More generally, it is concerned with the area of therapeutic individualization, particularly on the basis of pharmacogenetics, with regards to the use of pharmaceuticals and herbal medicine, including traditional medicine.
DMPT is an international scientific single-blind peer-review journal, which is issued quarterly with 8-10 articles per issue. The Journal publishes only English-language articles.
