Mavis Sika Okyere has thirteen (13) years of experience in the energy industry. Her experience in natural gas transmission and distribution includes operations, construction, codes and standards, gas measurement, and pipeline integrity management, She has served many roles including asset management, distribution integrity, flow efficiencies, product quality, fluid and thermodynamic properties, right-of-way protection, and inspection, community outreach.
Mavis is a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering candidate at the University of Ghana. Mavis is awarded a Doctor of Business Administration in Oil and Gas Management by Wayne Park University, USA. She studied MSc. Gas Engineering and Management at the University of Salford, United Kingdom, and BSc. Civil Engineering at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Ghana. She has published twelve (12) papers consisting of books, book chapters, and journal articles, and is a member of many National and International organizations.
Specialist with extensive experience implementing and managing pipeline integrity programs of gas pipeline systems and related facilities. A team player with experience working with multidisciplinary project teams. Organized and meticulous in both engineering work and documentation. Proficient in technical report writing and engineering presentations. Skilled in communicating both orally and in writing.
