Africa Travelogue

This book is written by a member of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) working under the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism. It consists of his experiences visiting Sudan, South Sudan, Egypt, Kenya, Somalia, Morocco, Senegal, Eritrea, Mauritania, Algeria, Benin, Libya, Ethiopia, and Djibouti. The author provides brief histories of all the countries he visited, ample information regarding his personal itinerary and experiences, and insights into culture, religion, education, health, social and political circumstances, and their citizens' perceptions of Turkey. He also reevaluates his own prejudices and perceptions about Africa and recommends experiencing the continent before making any judgments.
