Barnabe Googe (1540-1594) was a poet and translator, one of the earliest English pastoral poets.
Kennedy Judith :
Judith M. Kennedy is a professor emerita of St. Thomas University. She is the author of a critical edition of Yong's translation of Montemayor's Diana and Gil Polo's Enamoured Diana, and co-editor of A Theatre for Spenserians.
