R. Alan Douglas (1929-2009) was the founding curator of the Hiram Walker Historical Museum in Windsosr, Ontario. He was a founding member of the Canadian Museums Association and co-author of their Code of Ethics. He received many awards for his dedication to furthering and promoting local history.
