Grace Morris Craig was, in turn, a musician, architectural draughtsman, wife and mother, artist, and author. In her nintieth year, she produced her first book, which she began to write in order to tell her grandchildren about the Great War, the single most important event in her long life. The result, But This Is Our War, speaks to young people across the generations.
