Blatz W.E. :
W.E. Blatz (1895-1964) was born in Hamilton, Ontario, and studied medicine at the University of Toronto and psychology at the University of Chicago. He was the first Director of the Institute of Child Study, University of Toronto, appointed in 1924, and held that position until 1960; he was also Professor of Psychology, University of Toronto, until 1963. Dr Blatz was the author of a number of books and articles, and was well known as a speaker.
