Structure cristalline de l'octamolybdate de 3-ethyl pyridinium ápolyanions discrets [MO8O26]4−
Abstract
The title compound MO8O26(C7NH10)4 crystallizes in the monoclinic system, space group P21/n with parameters a = 13.807(4), b = 10.979(9), c = 14.319(5)Å, and β = 91.53(3)°. The crystal structure has been refined to R = 0.024 for 3530 hkl reflections. The cell contains a [MO8O26]4− polyanion and two crystallographically independent 3-ethyl pyridinium cations. The network exhibits infinite chains of polyanions bridged by one of these 3-ethyl pyridinium cations and piled up in the (101) plane. In between these layers [MO8O26(C7NH10)2]n2− the remaining cations are inserted. Both independent cations exhibit analogous conformational features.
