Abstract
This note refutes a recent proposal that κόσμος in the phrase τὰ στοιχεῖα τοῦ κόσμου (“the elemental constituents/principles/spirits of the world”) in Gal 4:3 is a reference to the foreskin.
Zusammenfassung
Diese Miszelle widerlegt den neueren Vorschlag, dass κόσμος in der Formulierung τὰ στοιχεῖα τοῦ κόσμου („die elementaren Bestandteile/Prinzipien/Geister der Welt“) in Gal 4:3 eine Anspielung auf die Vorhaut darstellt.
