Zusammenfassung
Recht, Rechtsberufe und Rechtsinstitutionen werden in den Medien stark behandelt, an deutschen Schulen dagegen kaum. Eine Umfrage an Gymnasien und Berufsschulen ging Medienkonsum und Unterricht nach. Im Ergebnis findet sich wenig rechtsbezogener Unterricht und Schüler selbst befürworten ein Mehr an Rechtsunterricht. Schüler selbst hielten sich für durch Presse, TV und Filme stärker über Recht informiert als durch den Unterricht. Allgemein hatten die Schüler ein eher positives Bild von der Justiz und den Rechtsberufen.
Abstract
Law, legal professions and legal institutions are strongly present in the media but are rarely discussed at German schools. A survey at German high schools and technical colleges analysed media consumption and school education. It was found that there is few law-related education and students favoured to learn more about law. The students themselves felt more influenced by press, TV and film than by school lessons. Generally, students held a positive view on the courts and legal professions.
