Abstract
As a rule, critical editions of ancient texts want to be made accessible to the modern reader by means of Indices locorum, nominum, verborum. There is a big variety of effective methods to be discussed and carefully chosen by the editor. The Thesaurus linguae Graecae opens new dimensions in this area too.
